Sustainability at Omas

At Omas, sustainability is not just a commitment — it’s part of our everyday operations. Our approach is practical, inclusive, and forward-thinking, ensuring that farmers, the environment, and communities benefit from our efforts.

Our Commitment

Together, these efforts position Omas as a responsible and future-ready partner in agriculture.

Geo-Mapping of Farmers & Farms

We use GPS technology to map all registered farmers and their farm locations. This provides transparency, ensures traceability, and helps us monitor environmental impact.

Internal Management System (IMS)

Omas has instituted a dedicated internal management team to oversee sustainability compliance, documentation, and internal audits. This system supports the implementation of responsible sourcing and ethical standards across our network.

Farmer Training & Capacity Building

Through regular training sessions, our farmers learn about:

  • Good Agricultural Practices (GAP)
  • Climate-resilient farming techniques
  • Responsible agrochemical use
  • Labor rights and child protection

These programs improve yield, protect the environment, and build sustainable livelihoods.

Policy Development for Realities on the Ground

We have created and continue to update sustainability policies that reflect actual field realities. These include:

  • Zero-deforestation policy
  • Safe pesticide management
  • Child labor remediation
  • Community inclusion and feedback systems
